Terms of Trading - Vortice Limited Shop On-line

The Contract

The following are a set of terms and conditions that relate to our online shopping facility. They form a legally binding contract between us, Vortice Limited, and you The Customer.  It is very important that you have read through and fully agree with all of the below before placing your order.

Privacy

Our sole interest in this site is to supply customers with the product they require, we therefore do not disclose any information supplied to us by you to any third parties.  All information is collected for the purpose of Invoicing and Delivery and will not be used for any statistical purpose.


Prices / Products

The prices given on this site are valid only for online sales and reflect the low administration costs of such transactions. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. You will be invoiced using the prices given at the time of your order and will be advised if any additional costs are necessary to complete your order. While every effort is made to ensure you receive the exact product as shown on our site, we do reserve the right to supply you with a different product of the similar specification and quality if necessary.


Payment

Cheques:Goods will be despatched only when cheque has been received and all due funds are "cleared" into our account.

Credit/Debit Cards: Goods will be despatched only when authorisation has been given for full payment by your card issuer.

In the event of any payment failure, you will be notified via e-mail and asked to provide an alternative method of payment before any goods are despatched.

Product Selection

Our "Product Selector" has been designed to aid the customer in the selection of products suitable for their needs. While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this guide we cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or loss to property, appliance or anything else affected by the selection of this product. For further guidance on choosing the correct type of installation and domestic product please refer to Document F1 of the Building Regulations and the current IEE Wiring Regulations (or the alternative document for Scotland or Northern Ireland).

Orders / Delivery Times

Our objective is to operate a two/three working day despatch service, orders are downloaded daily at 12pm and any orders received before this time will be processed on that day unless otherwise advised by e-mail. Next day deliveries, for orders received before 12pm, can be arranged but will attract an extra charge.

Delivery Charges

We deliver anywhere within the UK at the following rates:

Orders over £150 are carriage paid.

Orders below £150 will have a £10 carriage charge.

Next day deliveries have an extra £15 charge.

Damaged Goods

When you receive your order it is essential that you check thoroughly for damage before signing for the goods. If you sign for goods as "received in good condition" and later discover that they are damaged, we cannot process a claim through our carrier.

Security

Our site is SSL secured, incorporating the necessary security measures to deal with credit/debit card payments and is designed with you, the customer's security in mind. You can view the details of our Secure Certificate by double clicking on the padlock icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window.

Returns

Returned goods policy and procedure:
Within 7 days of receipt of your order or 7 days receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer) from the Vortice Limited site, you may return it for a full or part refund. Please note: Non-faulty goods returned will be subject to a 25% handling charge. Faulty goods can be returned for a full refund.

 

Products detailed on any clearance lists or special offer prices are non refundable and are while stocks last. 

Vortice Limited has the right to refuse the return of non-faulty goods that are not in pristine condition, or outside the warranty period. Items returned more than 28 days after delivery, or items in an unsaleable condition, or items missing parts, will be charged a restocking fee at our discretion. We regret we cannot accept items returned after 60 days unless they are returned under a warrantee agreement.Vortice offer a 2 year guarantee on all products.

All returns should be processed by first contacting us on either of the following: returns@vortice.ltd.uk or by phone on 01283 492950. A returns label and number will then be issued to enable you to return the goods.

Complaints

Any complaints will be taken very seriously and we will make every effort to remedy the cause of such a complaint. If you have any complaints please contact us via e-mail complaints@vortice.ltd.uk, showing the Subject Header: Complaints.
