How can VORTICE help installers?

The Technical team at Vortice runs regular BPEC training at the training centre in Burton upon Trent. This certified training course is designed to provide contractors and installers with the knowledge to install, test and commission a complete ventilation system, to meet the Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide 2010.  Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions this course is not currently running.

Course Schedule

Over both days there will be practical and theoretical training, with a multiple choice assessment at the end which requires a pass mark to obtain the certificate and qualification.

Ventilation overview and building regulations

Domestic ventilation in context

Airflow requirements and calculations

Health and Safety

Day 2

Installation, inspection, testing and commissioning

Health and Safety

Practical commissioning, exercise and assessment

Theory test assessment

Qualifications required

Candidates who hold, or are currently undertaking a course in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering. Or candidates with a number of years experience in plumbing, heating or electrical.
